Four ‘beer-loving’ friends took their hobby to the next level, which in 2015 resulted in Bierbrouwerij Oedipus. Yes, you read that right: Amsterdam-Noord has its own beer brewery. Oedipus loves beer and is not afraid of experimentation. Everything to let the world discover how magical beer can be. From Thursday to Sunday, you are welcome in the ‘taproom’ on the Gedempt Hamerkanaal, where you can taste all those traditional flavors while enjoying live music. In between you will of course join the tour of the brewery, how often do you get that chance? In the ‘taproom,’ there are fourteen rotating taps with Oedipus beer and you will find special and vintage flavors in the bottle. And on Friday afternoon they have an extra special fresh beer for you, straight from the bottling line.
