’t Zonnehuis

Small-scale authentic atmosphere for wonderful concerts

‘t Zonnehuis, the monumental location from 1932 on Zonneplein, is deeply rooted in the history of North Amsterdam. This beautiful, authentic hall is the setting for intimate Paradiso concerts, but also for many other activities, including theater performances and musicals. The building was built in the Amsterdam School style and was intended for the community life of residents of Tuindorp Oostzaan in particular. Originally as an association building for the workers of the NDSM site, which is less than two kilometers from ‘t Zonnehuis. Although it was scheduled to be demolished in 1993, it came into the possession of Stadsherstel in 2002. The national monument is now in its full glory and brings together all kinds of activities again. Be sure to take a look at the agenda.
