Tolhuis: Lust for Life

Lust for Life has now become a household name in the entertainment calendar of Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. Playing a variety of classic tracks from: The Cure, Blur, Disclosure, Arctic Monkeys, The Police, Daft Punk, Iggy Pop, Outkast and many more. Christian Kjellvander opens the door to ‘Hold Your Love Still’ with his soft voice, his first solo album since the 2020 released ‘About Love And Loving Again’. This creative work reveals Kjellvander’s reflective side, where he explores the challenges of true living intertwined with the complex influences of capitalism. At the same time, he urges not to lose hope for a better future. And the Swedish artist manages to convey all this in a particularly tender and softly whispering way. You can buy your tickets here.

MIKE is a typical old soul. His wisdom is evident in both his calm delivery and the thoughtful questions he asks. MIKE is known for his introspective, subtly profound lyrics that explore grief, family and identity, melting over muted, soul-laced samples. His latest project, ‘Burning Desire’, is his largest yet: both in length and artistically. For the first time in his career, MIKE steps outside his immediate circle of friends and collaborates with everyone from Larry June to Liv.e to Earl Sweatshirt and many others.
The beloved rapper has come a long way from when he started making waves in the underground hip-hop scene with the collective sLUms, which was founded in New York in 2015. Since then, he has released numerous albums to critical acclaim, earned Pitchfork’s Best New Music award twice, and toured with artists such as Blood Orange, Earl Sweatshirt, The Alchemist, and Freddie Gibbs.
